PM Modi will make a visit to Ayodhya on Diwali night

Prime Minister Modi will also visit the construction site for a magnificent Ram temple and, later, perform a coronation ceremony in symbolic honor of Lord Ram in accordance with an announcement by the office of the Prime Minister.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Ayodhya located in Uttar Pradesh on the eve of Diwali on Sunday, to take “darshan” and perform a “puja” at the Ram temple.

Modi will also look over the construction site for the huge Ram temple, and then will perform a symbolic coronation for Lord Ram in accordance with the statement released by PM’s Office (PMO).

Around 6.30 pm Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be present at”aarti,” or “aarti” on the banks of the Saryu river. This follows by the official launch of the large “Deepotsav” celebrations by him according to the statement.

This is the sixth year that Deepotsav will be held this year, and it is the first time Modi will be part of the festivities.

Over fifteen thousand “diyas” (earthen lamps) will be lit for the day. Five animated tableaux as well as 11 Ramlila tableaux that showcase various dance styles from various States will be created during Deepotsav.

Modi will also see an interactive three-dimensional “holographic projection mapping show” at Ram Ki Paidi on the banks of the Saryu and an impressive musical laser show as well, the PMO stated.
